Maca Soufflé

A warm, airy dessert made with egg yolks, sugar, port or Marsala wine, Maca powder, cream, and whipped egg whites.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons port wine or Marsala wine
  • Maca powder, to taste
  • A splash of cream
  • 2 egg whites, whipped into a meringue
  • Butter for greasing the ramekins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Thoroughly blend the egg yolks, sugar, wine, Maca powder, and cream.
  3. Pour the mixture into small buttered baking dishes or ramekins.
  4. Add the whipped egg white meringue on top.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
